Over at the top on the right is a button called sound explorer. Have a detailed look there because the KN7000 has an amazing range of sounds. You can also put two sounds together using the part select right 1 and right 2 buttons - bottom right.

A bit more info for you Steve. Whilst the KN6000 styles/rhythms will work in the KN2600. the reverse is not true. The KN2600 is only SD Card ready as you are aware, and it wasn't until the KN7000 was launched prior to the KN2600 that SD Card technology wa…

Hi Mike, thanks for you input and comments. Actually the 2600 was the last arranger keyboard Technics made and was released four years after the 6000. But that doesn't always mean newer is better. That's why I am hoping to get feedback from some who …

I have never owned a KN2600 but the model number suggests to me it will be earlier tech than the KN6000. It depends on what the price is but I've owned a KN6500 for several years and can vouch for its performance and features - I paid around £350 ($400?) …

Hi all
I currently have a KN2600 and I also have a line on a KN6000 for very reasonable price. The 2600 gets little use as would the 6000 but I like some of the Technics features and would like to have at least one later model KN in my collectio…

PS
I'm actually in the UK.
The previous posts came up with USA flag. I've edited my address as UK at the bottom of the Profile.
(Has always said UK at top of the Profile Page anyway).
But still displays the wrong flag!

PS the replacement won't match the original it will have a solid surface because I don't like the way that sheets of music fall through the original. But it will fit in the same way as the original.

I messed up a soldering job (inexperienced) and one of the circuit boards popped, so it's of no concern anymore! New piano it is.

A few ideas to try.
Does the volume slider make any difference to the output?
Try disconnecting the pedal cable (maybe a bad connection from the soft pedal would make it quiet).
How is the volume through headphones?
Try playing somethin…
