Re: KN6000 or 2600 - Which is betterI have never owned a KN2600 but the model number suggests to me it will be earlier tech than the KN6000. It depends on what the price is but I've owned a KN6500 for several years and can vouch for its performance and features - I paid around £350 ($400?) a few years back. I also own a KN800 and prefer some of the voices on that instrument so maybe you should consider this aspect. If you can get to listen to the KN6000, see if you prefer some of the sounds of your current instrument.

Re: KN6000 or 2600 - Which is betterHi Mike, thanks for you input and comments. Actually the 2600 was the last arranger keyboard Technics made and was released four years after the 6000. But that doesn't always mean newer is better. That's why I am hoping to get feedback from some who have experienced both. The 6000 I have in mind is under $400 US, so there could be a chance a having both at that level. Anyway we shall see. Thanks

Re: KN6000 or 2600 - Which is betterA bit more info for you Steve. Whilst the KN6000 styles/rhythms will work in the KN2600. the reverse is not true. The KN2600 is only SD Card ready as you are aware, and it wasn't until the KN7000 was launched prior to the KN2600 that SD Card technology was used for the first time.
