No harm in asking this, have you considered offering lifetime memberships on a sliding scale the applicant must of course give some sort of proof ? At 84 I don't feel it is much of a bargain for me, perhaps not offering a reduction until of pensionable age at say 65 ish and reducing in steps for older applicants. We can't know how long we will last but aches and pains, eyes sight and general health I would suggest many have given up playing in their mid 70's.
