Does anyone know of any makes of external speakers 2 x woofer similar to those on the Yamaha tyros rage of keyboards, that can be used with the KN7000, please. AB68

I am using a Kustom pa50 with a subwoofer. I use this at the different places that I play. In my studio I use a Bose lifestyle system. Both are great with the KN7000.

Thanks for that info. However I was thinking of something a little cheaper than that, something for home use only, althouh I did note you use a home set up. AB68

Hi All,
I have to be brief... I use a home theatre system that my son got me at very reasonable price second hand. Four speakers and a subwoofer plus it can play backing tracks off CD or DVD. Sounds great. No need to hook up to a TV just get the right audio cable adapters.
If you read the PR804 article on the instruments menu that also talks about using a home theatre system.

You can also route different parts to different speakers on the KN7000 from within the menus.
I've made a few forum posts about this I think. Search home theatre on the forums main page.
Ideal for most needs. I mean, how loud does it need to be at home? Home Theatre systems have great quality and usually plenty of amplification.

There are loads of cheap pieces of hifi and speakers you can use to do this. I would definitely look out for a cheap amp and speakers that will certainly give you more volume and some added control!
