Has anyone downloaded or used these styles. they are advertised on e bay under Kn7000 keyboards for sale????Dave

Hi Dave, I have downloaded the Program myself. It is not bad I would say if you are prepared to use them as a starting point to develop styles you are going to use. then they are great but if you just want something off the shelf They leave a lot to you as the player to make the most of them.

Hi JD...Good morning this nice Bank Holiday Monday. I have downloaded and installed quite a number on the KN 7000. However, I am finding quite a number will not go on. Did you find that??? regards Dave

when you say won't go on what is happening?, I must admit i have only tried to load a couple of styles at a time from a disk at a time and not had a problem. What is the display saying when you try to load ?

Hi there again Thanks for taking the trouble to reply. Most have gone on ok with a few exceptions. What has prompted me to seek advice is that I copied 20 Waltz files onto a floppy and not one will go. What happens after trying to load the style is it keeps comming up with Easy 8 beat as the style...tempo as it should be in relation to the style trying to load and Bank A Convert Bank 1 [as the bank] On all occasions it comes up with the Easy 8 Beat Style even after loading a new style into Bank A memory 1. Something is not quite right methinks...Regards Dave

Hi Dave had some food and got my coffee!!!!, Now these styles are on floppy disk I take it, (the Easy 8 beat is default for memory A ) they are only loading part of the files needed. The default shows when you only get a partial load. can you tell me what style code numbers are not working so I can try them this end. The file code is in the Export list when you downloaded

Tried my copies no problem, but as you say yours won't load although the files are there on the disk (????????) I would firstly try taking a blank disc, format on KN7 the try 1 style from list say C00237 export to floppy and see if that works, if not try a few and speak to our French friends I will try again with the files in my Hex reader to see if anything is amiss but the compression that Technics used on the KN7 makes them very hard to fault find but will keep trying.

PPS the missis is callin' got to start the food for tonight (domestic chores !!!) speak later. let me know how you get on by doing a re-Export of the files

Will do as you suggest and will let you know in due course. No chores here, snookers on. As a matter of interest I/we have relations in Aldridge, not far from you I believe.

John, sorry to interupt your chores, but would it be possible to copy your versions of my problem files, not all but two or three perhaps and senf them on and I can download the a put them on a disk???. I have contacted the froggies regarding it....regards Dave
