Hi all
Im new on here, and have downloaded the styles from the Roland and Yamahas PSR2100 & Tyros 3 etc.
I'm not sure who has done all this work ( i assume its Mike?) But whoever has done it I would like to thank them very
much for this as they are excellent and re-kindled my enthusiasm for my KN6K.

In particular I love the Tyros 3 styles and would like to know if there will be any more coming in the near future?

The styles on the 6/6500 are excellent of course but how refreshing these additional ones are!

Many thanks

Bill

Re: Styles downloads

Hi Bill,

Thanks for the kind words and I'm glad you're enjoying the Styles. I really think it transforms our instruments to have all these new Styles and other resources available.

Most of them have been (and are being) made (mostly by converting and fine-tuning) by John and myself but there are many by other contributors who I hope and believe are acknowledged appropriately on the pages.

The Tyros 3 Styles are excellent but they have been very challenging to convert, much moreso than I originally expected. But yes, they will be made available in due course. In fact I have converted all of them but they are not up to a great standard yet. You'll notice that many of the Series that are on the site have been re-issued in different versions over the last couple of years. That way of working will continue as we re-visit each Series and improve them with better voicing, balance and additional features like Home Pages and Performance pads. We're on a journey basically... and it might be never-ending but we'll all enjoy the progress along the way.

As you're a new Member you won't have received any of my newsletters yet but they will keep you up to date with progress once or twice a month generally.

Best wishes,
Mike
