Hi Shezza,

Unless you are trying to do something extremely specific to KN6500 the KN6000 Service Manual probably has anything you need. It's on the KN6000 page:

The casing is the same and almost all components are the same (I believe).

Anything specific we might be able to help with?

Thanks very much Mike, nothing specific, just got an idea that I want to look into. Could you also tell me are the instrument sounds exactly the same on the 6000 as 6500.
For example if I were to use either as a midi instrument would they sound the same?

The base set of Sounds is the same but KN6500 has more soloists etc. If you download the Reference Guide for each one then you'll have a list of Sounds from both. If you use the KN6000 reference Guide to choose the Sounds then the result will be exact on both models. John and I have been in the process of making spreadsheets that compare the Sounds from different models along with their midi values... but that won't be ready until next winter(!). So, to be clear, the models have about 1000 Sounds in common and the KN6500 has some extras. I believe that the KN6500 has the same set of Sounds as KN7000 but maybe someone can confirm that.
