I am patiently waiting for a KN6000 to be delivered from Ebay auction and have one matter that I am not finding any information on. There is what is call a style conversion disk that have different .cnv files but I cannot find any information in the manuals or online that discuss how to use etc. If anyone has any info on this will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Re: KN6000 Style Convert Disk

Just managed to use the Technics Style Conversion Disk on my KN7000.

Fairly straightforward to use it. If the Technics Keyboard Disk Menu has the Style Convert option, you can press that and insert the Style Conversion disk first. Select the appropriate manufacturer like ROLAND from the menu. This will list the ROLAND keyboard models it can convert.

Next it will prompt for the diskette with the styles to convert. Select the style and then the Memory A,B or C to place the converted file.
You can then save that style as a custom Te hnics Style. I also managed to use the converted file on a PR804.
