hi, my KN 2600 has 2 broken sequencer buttons ( 2 of the 16 small buttons directly under the display screen) unfortunately they are the 2 that I use the most and I wondered if they were repairable or replaceable. I could swap some of the other buttons around but can't find a way of doing this. any help would be much appreciated.

Re: Broken sequencer buttons on KN2600Hi not the best of news I am afraid The buttons you are talking about are a set along the bottom of the screen They are made from ABS plastic which does not glue well, also these parts may well but unobtainable. The other problem is this part of the Keyboard is one of the first parts to be assembled and the last to get to. The other problem is that the type of connections that are used are now some 14 years old and can cause problems when they are disconnected or reassembled. I think you will need the services of an engineer. I note you are in the UK where? as I might be able to point you in the right direction or see if any of our British members might know a contact for you.

Re: Broken sequencer buttons on KN2600Hi John, thanks for replying to the post. I live in Northern Ireland but could travel to any part of Ireland really if anybody could repair or replace these push buttons.

Re: Broken sequencer buttons on KN2600Here’s a suggestion, which might help with more information regarding possible solutions. There a Person who now dedicates his time repairing keyboards here in England, Guildford, Surrey.
