SX K500 Broken key--replacement needed

I'm from Ontario Canada and I have a broken key on my Technics SX K500 keyboard. Does anyone know where I could get a replacement key for this keyboard in SW Ontario area?

I haven't checked the actual part number, but I believe I have this part. Instead of buying the part from me, I've asked a fellow tech in the Niagra Falls area to check and see if he has the part in stock. Please check with Bryant Holinaty at Niagara Music Repair Ltd. His email info is (removed). If he's unable to help you, I'm sure that I can.
Would you be able to send a picture to make sure the replacement is identical?

Hi kbteck1,

Welcome to the site, we're always happy when Engineers join us as these instruments are getting long in the tooth and any assistance is welcome.

I had a look at your website when you joined up. Looks good!

I've removed the email address from your post because I don't allow email addresses on the forums (for the protection of the owner of the email address!). However, crobich will have received it by email. Please send email addresses by using the private message system. Many thanks.

Once again, welcome.

I emailed your buddy and he can't help me out. I posted a picture of the keyboard with the broken key for you to look at. If you need any other info just email me back. If you do have the piece let me know the price plus shipping please.

Thanks
Cathy

Hi Cathy,
I saw the picture but need to see the actual key. I'm going to check my schematics and try and verify what you need on the k500 compared to what I have. It may be a situation of you having to open up the unit to pull a good key and send that picture. Don't take that step just yet. I should have a chance to check this out over the weekend...

Hi Cathy,

If you have no luck in getting the service manual for this keyboard, I'll scan the appropriate part and send it over to you. Likely you can take the broken key out without taking the unit apart, but you will have to disassemble the keyboard in order to install the new key. To remove the broken key, while pushing down the rear of the key, gently pull forward. It should pull toward you without too much force. If this doesn't work, you'll have to take it apart to remove. I need to verify what the rear of the key looks like. LMK if you have any questions.
