I purchased an SX-EA5 a few days ago. I knew at the time the screen was very dim but I thought I could learn to deal with it. Unfortunately it's not working out. I'm searching for a replacement screen. If anyone has one to sell please contact me. If anyone knows of a work-around (IE: putting the screen image on a computer screen) please let me know. I'm planning to upgrade to a USB Emulator and loading as many registrations as possible on a stick incase the screen goes out completely. Any help or advice will be appreciated.

Re: SX-EA5 LCD Screen NeededHi and welcome to the site, you have said your display is starting to fail, The part number you are looking for is "EDMMPJ2B6W" this is the Technics/Panasonic part number, one thing I would suggest is to check the back of the unit in case there is a maker's part no or id which could help with your search. The thing we have found out about Technics is that although Panasonic produced a lot of parts they also brought in products such as Disk drives, LCD displays etc. so there may be a long shot if you can follow this route? You could also try Panasonic USA. another long shot but still a worthwhile try.
