I have a Ensemble PR270. I want to connect it to a laptop running windows 10 via the midi interface. I have done so, but the keyboard is not responding, but the laptop is recognizing the midi interface. I suspect I need a driver that doesn't exist? The software I am running is Playground Sessions.

Re: Ensemble PR270 Midi interface to windows 10 laptopHi, Welcome to the site, The SX-PR270 was never supplied with software drivers as this was the norm in 1992. In those days most people were using Atari's on PC's using Windows 3.1, The Midi systems in those days also did not fully comply with the General Midi standard although it was being introduced by all the major manufacturers as new models came on line in the early to mid1990's Roland being the first to introduce GM. models.

Re: Ensemble PR270 Midi interface to windows 10 laptopThanks John, and quick reply too. I have ordered the Roland interface to see if that works. I suspect if it doesn't, then I am out of luck. Anyone else have another idea?
