Dead keys on keyboard unless plugged in with headphones

None of my Keys work on my SX PX 222 keyboard when played. although when you plug headphones into the device and continue to play, it works fine. Could it be something wrong with the speaker?

Hi and welcome to the site, sorry to hear you are having problems. The first thing to check is what you have already done, the next thing to check is there any output from the output from the rear of the instrument,? I am not sure but the Headphone may well have it's own small amp to drive the headphones. We do not have a copy of the the service manual on file at this time but I would check out the +15volt and the -15volt power regulators as in the Keyboards they are known to fail you will need to get a Engineer to check it through.
