Then became a Technics Dealer in 1990 the days of KN800. Left music trade for a break in 93 but kept on playing on Keyboard. In 2005 ended up in a wheel chair (my pedal work was never the greatest) and managed to get a KN7 in 2007, been finding out how great it is since.

Re: Hello from jd5live

Hi jd5live,

It's great to have you onboard. Sounds as though you can teach us a thing or two about playing keyboards! I've played a few Hammonds on stage (club residencies) in my younger days and now that I'm older I appreciate them more. I couldn't tell you the models I'm embarrassed to say. I also had a residence where they had a Yamaha HX, I never really felt comfortable on that but did have the pleasure of working with the late Ross McManus on that. Ross was a trumpet player with Joe Loss and father of Elvis Costello. A lovely and enigmatic man. But I digress...

These forums will be upgraded in the near future. The site is only a couple of months old and I'm working on improving the interface and making it more pleasant on mobiles and tablets.

I hope you're enjoying your KN7000, thanks for joining and see you soon!

Regards,
Mike

Nice to meet you guys. I was an old Hammond kicker also. Had L and M spinets and ended up hauling an old BV which was pre ww2 with percussion added. It was poor mans ebony ( flat black spray paint).
Love my 7000. Bought a Tyros 4, kept it about a year and have just sold it. I found I was still on the Technics most of the time.
