Cowboys and Indians

Who is old enough to remember playing cowboys and Indians as a kid? Did you make those Whoo Whoo Whoo noises of them there red-skins? Well I could really do with that sound for an arrangement I have done....you guessed it..."Running Bear". I could also do…

Well I could really do with that sound for an arrangement I have done....you guessed it..."Running Bear". I could also do with a sound like an arrow being fired perhaps with a boing at the end. I'm thinking "Cupid"(draw back your bow) here!!! Your mission, should you choose to accept, is to keep the customer satisfied!! I really would be chuffed if anyone's got time to help out.....

Re: Cowboys and Indians

I remember doing the same Mel as my Grandfather was an avid Western fan and I spent many happy hours watching those movies with him, though I know the terms are understood as not politically correct now, the games we played were innocent and fun loving at the time.

I'm pretty sure you could achieve a whooping sound using some of the vocal tones, it might be easier to edit on a KN6000 so maybe someone who has one will volunteer. It would be worth you trying out some of the sound effects and user drum kits on the expansion boards to see if they are anywhere close too - download KN7000 sounds here or in the members area.

If you don't get any takers I'll give it a shot when I get some free time but that's likely a few weeks away....and I'm by no means the best sound editor around!
