When you start up do you see the Technics logo?

Have you tried disconnecting the keyboard from the mains and then re-trying?

Firstly, try your contrast settings:

Select Mode Set.

Select No 2.

Select contrast setting No 5.

Adjust screen contrast.

Press Mode set.
